Godzilla stands tall on Monarch: Legacy of Monsters posters

October 15, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

It’s certainly an exciting time to be a Godzilla fan; we’ve got Toho’s Godzilla Minus One incoming this year, DC’s comic book crossover Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong launching this week, and the Godzilla vs. Kong sequel Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire incoming in 2024.

Before then however, we’ll return to Legendary’s MonsterVerse as Apple TV+ premieres Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and following this week’s trailer we now have two new posters for the TV series which showcases the King of the Monsters along with its cast; check them out here…

Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.

Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army Officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows.

The dramatic saga — spanning three generations — reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on November 17th.
