Disney+ shares new Percy Jackson and the Olympians trailer

With a little over a month to go until Percy Jackson and the Olympians premieres on Disney+, the streamer has released a new trailer for the upcoming series adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling fantasy novel series; watch it below…

Percy Jackson & The Olympians tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must trek across America to find it and restore order to Olympus.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell as the titular character, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, and features notable guest stars such as Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, Megan Mullally as Mrs. Dodds, Toby Stephens as Poseidon, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus, Jay Duplass as Hades, Glynn Turman as Chiron, and the late Lance Reddick as Zeus.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians will debut with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 on Disney+, followed by new episodes weekly.
