Idris Elba’s Knuckles is back in first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff series

Paramount Plus has released the first trailer and official poster for Knuckles, the upcoming live-action spinoff series set between the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 & 3.

The series sees Idris Elba and Adam Pally reprising their their roles as Knuckles and Wade, with special guest appearances from franchise stars Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey alongside a cast that includes Stockard Channing, Edi Patterson, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, Julian Barratt, Rory McCann, Cary Elwes, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel. The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior.

Knuckles premieres on Paramount+ on April 27th.
