7 Days in Entebbe gets a new poster

January 30, 2018 by Gary Collinson

After unveiling a trailer last month [watch it here], Focus Features has now unveiled the first poster for director Jose Padilha (Elite Squad, Narcos) upcoming thriller 7 Days in Entebbe, which details the real life hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris and the daring rescue that followed.

From the director of Narcos, ENTEBBE is based on the 1976 true story of four hijackers who took a plane hostage and forced it to land in Entebbe, Uganda, while they demanded the release of dozens of Palestinian terrorists. The ticking-clock thriller follows the hijackers and hostages as well as the political leaders trying to decide whether to negotiate or send an elite special forces unit on a dramatic rescue mission to free the hostages.

7 Days to Entebbe features a cast that includes Rosamund Pike, Daniel Brühl, Eddie Marsan, Ben Schnetzer, Lior Ashkenazi and Denis Ménochet, and is set for release on March 16th.
