90% percent of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’s action made the final cut

March 26, 2020 by Samuel Brace

A stunt coordinator for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker says 90% of the filmed action made the final cut of the movie.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was certainly one of the most action-packed additions to the franchise, with the film jumping from one exciting scene to the next. But could there have been even more added in?

Well, according to stunt coordinator Eunice Huthart, there was only a little bit that didn’t make the finished film and this is rare for a movie. Speaking to ScreenRant, she said:

“I’ve done movies where I’d say 60 percent, 65 percent or 70 percent of our action makes the film. I’d say on the whole, probably 90 percent of what we shot action-wise made the movie.”
