Lexi Alexander to direct an episode of Arrow

June 5, 2015 by James Garcia

Since directing Punisher: War Zone in 2008, Lexi Alexander has shown up on plenty of fan wishlists for movies like Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel. While she hasn’t landed any of those high-profile gigs, she has landed another superhero project, as revealed during a recent Q&A on Twitter.

When asked if she’d been approached by Marvel Studios for any of its Netflix shows, Alexander announced that she hadn’t. However, Warner Bros. apparently had her number, and brought her on board to helm an upcoming episode of Arrow‘s fourth season:

Alexander certainly knows how to handle action sequences, so she should feel right at home directing the Emerald Archer around Star City. We of course don’t yet know what episode she’ll helm, but will keep you posted as more details become available.

Arrow will return to the CW this fall.
