Dredd production designer joins The Flash movie

May 28, 2018 by Gary Collinson

While we still haven’t had anything from Warner Bros. in the way of a release date or planned production start for The Flash, it seems that the Scarlet Speedster’s solo movie is starting to come together behind-the-scenes following the appointment of directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

According to Omega Underground, Warner has enlisted Mark Digby to serve as production designer on the movie. Digby’s previous credits include Slumdog Millionaire, Rush and Fahrenheit 451, along with his Alex Garland collaborations on Dredd, Ex Machina and Annihilation.

Just a few days ago, Kiersey Clemons confirmed that she remains attached to the project as Iris West despite her scenes being cut from Justice League. The actress will join Ezra Miller, who reprises his role as Barry Allen, while Billy Crudup is also expected to return as Henry Allen.

In other recent Flash news, it has also been reported this month that Warner Bros. may have dropped its plans to adapt the Flashpoint comic book storyline, and is instead looking at a traditional solo movie. We’ve had no confirmation on that so far, but with the project’s crew beginning to come together, hopefully we’ll get some official word from Warner Bros. and DC Films soon.
