NBC is teaming with Blumhouse Television and Universal Television for a new horror drama series entitled Cul-De-Sac, which is being eyed as the first project under a new ‘Blumhouse Presents’ banner.
Deadline reports that Cul-De-Sac has been written by Brian Sieve (Scream: The TV Series) and follows “three families living in a suburban cul-de-sac who begin to experience terrifying events and come to realize there’s something sinister invading their perfect middle-class dream.”
The series will be directed by Larysa Kondracki, who recently served as showrunner on Picnic at Hanging Rock and has directed epsiodes of The Fix, Power, Legion, Gotham and Better Call Saul.
The television arm of Blumhouse has numerous projects in the works, including a spinoff of The Purge, the holiday event series Into the Dark, and the drama You Bury Me.
