James McAvoy, who will be playing the grown up version of Bill Denbrough in It: Chapter Two, has announced the first day of shooting via his Instagram account.

Unless you have an aversion to dairy products, there’s nothing to frighten you about the behind-the-scenes snap, but it should herald the start of more insights as shooting gets under way on the sequel to 2017’s blockbuster horror.

Day 1 on IT 2. Glad you got the memo guys. #passthecheeseplease #derryordairy

Joining McAvoy in the adult Losers Club will be Bill Hader as Richie, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, James Ransone as Eddie, Andy Bean as Stanley, Jay Ryan as Ben, and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike. Bill Skarsgård returns as Pennywise the Clown, as does director Andy Muschietti.

IT: Chapter Two takes place 27 years after the events depicted in the $700 million grossing first instalment, and will feature flashbacks to the 80s cast. The film will crawl from the standpipe on September 6th 2019.
