Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene board game announced

July 13, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Mondo Games has announced that it is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s classic Jurassic Park with a brand new board game entitled Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene.

“In our approach to Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene, we took many of our favorite elements of a traditional dungeon crawl style board game and spliced them with one of our favorite films of all time. The goal was to create something truly unique and incredibly fun to play” said lead game designer Luke Byers. “With some of the most beautiful art in gaming today by the immensely talented Matthew Woodson, we hope this game ‘…finds a way’ on tables of gamers and Jurassic Park fans alike for millions of years to come.”

“Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene” is a 2 to 4 player asymmetrical miniatures board game, for age 14 and up. Choose your faction from the following: InGen, Park Visitors, Raptors or the T. rex. Find items needed for your faction, attack or avoid other dinosaurs, gain experience and customize your faction. With several scenarios and modular environment tiles for players to explore, each faction has unique objectives to complete in an effort to win the game!

Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene will go on sale int he Fall, and if you’re at Comic-Con next week, you’ll be able to see it on display at the Mondo booth #435.
