While we’ve still got a couple of weeks to wait for the UK release of Ant-Man and the Wasp, the latest chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe opened in the States last weekend, and director Peyton Reed is already teasing what we can expect in terms of deleted scenes when the home-entertainment release comes around.
Speaking to Collider, Reed revealed that the Blu-ray will include five-to-ten minutes of deleted scenes, teasing that: “There’s gonna be some stuff in the Quantum Realm, there’s definitely some stuff with Walton Goggins. There’s maybe a little more Quantum Realm stuff that you’ll see on the Blu-ray, some really fun stuff.”
Reed also spoke about Marvel’s approach to deleted scenes, stating that the studio will continue to work on the visual effects of scenes facing the chop, either to see if they may end up making it into the final cut, or to provide fans with bonus material.
“One of the amazing things at Marvel, even if something is maybe ‘oh, I don’t know if that’s gonna be in the movie,’ they’ll continue to progress it, visual effects-wise. One, because we want to see it, and see, like, does it earn its place in the movie? And the other reason is, well, it’ll be a great thing on the Blu-ray.”

(Dave), while new additions to the cast include Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster/Goliath, Hannah John-Kamen as The Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo.
