Hungry Shark World now feeding on consoles

July 17, 2018 by Andrew Newton

The hugely popular mobile game Hungry Shark World has made the leap from mobile devices to console today with the game arriving on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.  The game, developed by Future Games of London, sees players start as a small shark in a big pond and eventually move onto some of the biggest and fiercest predators the world has seen.  The launch trailer can be seen below…

Hungry Shark World takes us deep beneath the waves and starts us off as a tiny shark with lots of eating to do.  Players will need to eat everything that swims that is smaller while avoiding certain predators in the sea that would consider them a snack.

Players will need to swim through more than 250 missions set in four completely unique worlds including beautiful tropical islands, sunken temples, vast cities and frozen icebergs.  There are 20 different species of shark to feed and upgrade so that they are capable of taking on the many fearsome sea creatures such as goblin sharks, prehistoric predators and giant squids.

If feeding on sea creatures isn’t good enough for your tastes then venture to the surface and see if you can snack on a surfer.

Hungry Shark World is available now on consoles.
