Tyler Hoechlin, Justin Chatwin and more join sci-fi drama Another Life

August 30, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Following on from the news that Selma Blair (Hellboy) will star alongside Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) in Another Life, we now have word on more additions to the cast of the Netflix sci-fi drama.

Deadline is reporting that Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl), Justin Chatwin (Shameless), Samuel Anderson (Loaded) and Elizabeth Faith Ludlow (The Walking Dead) have joined the series, which has been created by Aaron Martin (Saving Hope).

Another Life sees Sackhoff as Niko Breckinridge, an astronaut searching for evidence of alien intelligence who leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact, where they face unimaginable danger on what may be a one-way journey.

Hoechlin will play Ian Yerxa, former commander of The Salvare ship, with Chatwin as Niko’s husband Erik Wallace, Anderson as William, a holographic interface of a sentient A.I., and Ludlow as Cas Isakovic, the ship’s second in command.

Another Life has a ten-episode order from Netflix, and is slated to air in 2019.
