More impressive is that the film is still to open in many foreign countries, with Italy, Germany and China still to come in the next couple of months, which may well push it close to the holy grail of $1 billion.

In the UK, the film has grossed around $26.6 million in just ten days, with Mexico ($30.6 million) the highest foreign total for the film so far.
