Agility attribute covered in new 7 Days to Die Alpha 17 developer video

October 18, 2018 by Andrew Newton

A new developer video has been released for Alpha 17 of 7 Days to Die.  In this latest video, Joel Huenink of The Fun Pimps introduces the Agility attribute and its associated perks.  The Agility attribute will cover everything associated with physical movement and stealth.  The new video can be seen below…

Starting the video, we see Joel flying an airship in the game, this won’t feature in Alpha 17 (although it would be cool if it did), but the vehicle will more than likely be stored in the code allowing PC players to spawn it in for themselves.

Agility will affect athletic prowess and investing points in this can reward players with an increase in max stamina, however, there are many perks associated with this attribute that will also vie for your point investment.

In a nod to 2009s Zombieland, the first perk under Agility is Rule 1: Cardio.  This perk increases stamina regeneration providing a maximum increase of 45%.  There’s also Parkour which increases jump height and Olympic Swimmer which increases swimming speed and the length of time breath can be held for.

Perks associated with stealth include, Ninja Movement – increases sneak movement speed, Hidden Strike – increases sneak melee damage, and From the Shadows – allows more effective hiding from opponents more when in shadows plus muffles more noises.

Are you enjoying this peek at the upcoming perks in Alpha 17?  Let us know in the comments…
