Liam Hemsworth and Vince Vaughn to star in Clark Duke’s Arkansas

October 20, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Actor Clark Duke (Kick-Ass, Hot Tub Time Machine) has enlisted Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) and Vince Vaughn (Brawl in Cell Block 99) to star in his directorial debut Arkansas.

The film will see Hemsworth and Duke as “a pair of low level drug runners in the Dixie Mafia, who live by the orders of an Arkansas-based drug kingpin, played by Vaughn, whom they’ve never met. But when a deal goes horribly wrong, deadly consequences ensue.”

Hemsworth will next be seen in the rom-com Isn’t It Romantic alongside Rebel Wilson, and has recently completed filming on the action thriller Killerman. Vaughn meanwhile reunites with his Brawl in Cell Block 99 director S. Craig Zahler opposite Mel Gibson in Dragged Across Concrete, while Duke was last seen in Burt Reynolds’ final film The Last Movie Star.

In addition to directing and starring, Duke has also written the script for Arkansas, and filming is now underway in Alabama.
