Brand new vehicle enters the Switchblade battle arena

November 28, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Lucid Games has released a brand new vehicle for their team based vehicle action MOBA Switchblade.  The Porcupine is the fourth vehicle to be released for the Scout vehicle class and the seventeenth vehicle on the vehicle roster.  Scout vehicles are fast and have impressive secondary abilities and The Porcupine will not disappoint.  Meet the Porcupine in the new trailer below…

The Porcupine is a member of the Scout class and as with the other vehicles in its class is a master of disruption and surprise.  This vehicle comes with 4 special abilities:

  • Main Weapon – Striker – This is a military grade laser weapon that is effective against both Hull and Shield.
  • Primary Ability – Thunder Mines – These drop a row of micro storms that deal damage and apply a steering lock.
  • Secondary Ability – Overdrive – Boosts the speed of nearby friendly vehicles and Mobs to give that edge.
  • Super Weapon – Lockdown Storm – Locks nearby enemies in place and disables their abilities.

Switchblade sees two teams compete in a frantic 5v5 arena-style battle, where players are able to switch seamlessly between heavily armed sci-fi vehicles and must work together to take down enemy towers. The game is currently in Early Access on Steam PC and PlayStation 4.

This latest addition to the vehicle roster is available now from the game’s Steam Store.
