Fans will be rewarded by Avengers: Endgame, thinks Thor: Ragnraok director Taika Waititi

February 6, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Taika Waititi, the director of Thor: Ragnarok, believes that fans are going to be rewarded by Avengers: Endgame.

It’s taken us a long time to get to this stage in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and with Avengers: Endgame on the horizon, expectations are certainly high that fan investment in the franchise will be rewarded.

Well, this is exactly what will happen according to Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. While the director hasn’t seen the film, he said at TCA (via ComicBook.com) that from what he has heard fans are going to be pleased:

“I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know even what happens. They keep their cards so close to their chests.

“But from what I’ve heard, it wraps up everything in a really great way. It feels like the fans are getting rewarded for hanging around for 10 years and watching all these films. Because the more you know about the characters and the stories and stuff, the more satisfying this film will be.”

Fans will certainly be hoping that the director is right on this one and that Endgame delivers a satisfying conclusion to what has been a truly epic ride. Do you have high hopes for the film? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @FlickeringMyth…
