Octopath Traveler is coming to Steam in June

April 16, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Square Enix’s Nintendo Switch exclusive JRPG, Octopath Traveler, is now coming to PC on 7th June. The game is set to be released via Steam and the Square Enix Store. You can watch the announcement trailer here…

The blog post itself does not suggest if there will be any improvements or differences  between the Switch to PC port. Despite the lack of changes, it is great to see the game become available for new players who maybe don’t own a Switch.

For anyone unfamiliar with Octopath Traveler, the game is set in the world of Osterra, follows 8 unique heroes – each with their own skillset, motivations and storylines. Additionally, Octopath has a very distinct 2D visual style with realistic 3D environments.

Square Enix recently announced a brand new entry in the series, and a mobile prequel titled Octopath Traveler: Conquerors of the Continent.

Will you be picking up Octopath when it is released for PC? Let us know in the comments below or on our social media
