Keanu Reeves wants to play Constantine again

John Wick star Keanu Reeves has stated that he would love to make a return as the occult detective John Constantine.

Director Francis Lawrence originally brought the DC character Constantine to the big screen in 2005, starring Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, and Tilda Swinton. Since then, Matt Ryan has taken over the role and stars occasionally in the Arrowverse.

However, Keanu Reeves revealed in an interview with Variety, that we would love to return to the role. Reeves stated, “I’ve always wanted to play John Constantine again. I just love that world, too, and I love that character. I just had a blast playing the character and (playing) in that world.”

With the John Wick franchise being hugely successful with critics and the box office, now could be a great time for Warner Bros. to make a return to the world of Constantine with Reeves – who is widely beloved.
