Esai Morales is “thrilled and honored” to be playing Deathstroke in Titans season 2

September 4, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Following on from Manu Bennett in Arrow and Joe Manganiello in Justice League, Esai Morales is the next actor taking on the role of the fan-favourite DC villain Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke, in the upcoming season two of Titans.

With the second season approaching, Morales took to social media to express his excitement for portraying one of DC’s most iconic villains. In a statement given to fans on Facebook (via GWW), Morales stated:

“I am both thrilled and honored to inhabit the character and supersuit of Slade Wilson/Deathstroke,” Morales told fans. “I am having the time of my life in the role for a variety of reasons but mostly because he’s just such a badass and very much willing and able to take on all comers to protect his family and his reputation at his craft. Thank you all for such a warm and lovely welcome. I can’t wait to see what you think.”

The second season will not just feature the main antagonist of Deathstroke, but his children, Rose and Joseph Wilson (a.k.a. Ravager and Jericho), will also be making appearances in the show when it premieres on September 6th.
