Halloween Kills bringing back yet another character from John Carpenter’s original film

September 8, 2019 by Gary Collinson

It looks like director David Gordon Green and co-writer Danny McBride are bringing back another character from the 1978 original for next year’s Halloween Kills, with Bloody Disgusting reporting that Robert Longstreet (The Haunting of Hill House) has been cast in the role of Lonnie Elam.

Lonnie was played by Brent Le Page in John Carpenter’s original, and was one of the kids who bullied Tommy Doyle – another character who’ll be back for the new movie, played this time by Anthony Michael Hall (The Dead Zone).

They’ll be joined by Kyle Richards, who is reprising her role as Lindsay Wallace, along with the returning Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode. Nick Castle is also back on board (once again sharing the role of Michael Myers with Halloween 2018’s James Jude Courtney), while Judy Greer (Karen), Andi Matichak (Allyson) and Jibrail Nantambu (Julian) are also back after starring in last year’s reboot/sequel.
