Shia LaBeouf and Vanessa Kirby set for dark drama Pieces of a Woman

Shia LaBeouf (Honey Boy) and Vanessa Kirby (Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw) are set to lead the cast of Pieces of a Woman, a “dark drama” from White God director Kornel Mundruczo and writer Kata Weber.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the film will revolve around the strained relationship of a grieving husband and wife, along with the latter’s estranged mother, and explores their emotional journey following a home birth that ends in tragedy.

Pieces of a Woman is being produced by Bron Studios, whose recent credits include the likes of The Nightingale, The Red Sea Diving Resort, The Kitchen and Joker.
