Star Wars: The Rise of Skywaker’s John Boyega believes Anakin was a better Jedi than Rey

November 1, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Anakin was a better Jedi than Rey and would win a fight easily according to Star Wars sequel trilogy star John Boyega.

Not all Jedi are on equal footing, there have been some incredibly powerful Jedi in the history of Star Wars but how does the sequel trilogy’s Rey compare to Jedi of the past?

Well, Comic Book Resources tweeted out an article that claimed Rey was a better Jedi than both Anakin and Luke, which is certainly quite the statement. Anakin was an immensely powerful force wielder, even more so before becoming Darth Vader.

John Boyega, one of the stars of The Rise of Skywalker has even had to admit that Rey or anyone else in the new trilogy could not stand up to Anakin. Taking to Twitter, the actor said: “I’m sorry guys but Anakin slapping all of us in a pit of lava. Including Kylo.”

Anakin was certainly a force to be reckoned with and with The Rise of Skywalker is only a couple of months away, is it possible that we could see the legendary Jedi return in some form? Anything is possible!
