Murder by Numbers arrives on Nintendo Switch and PC

March 6, 2020 by Andrew Newton

The Irregular Corporation and developer Mediatonic have announced the launch of their 90s themed detective puzzler Murder by Numbers on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.  This 90s themed “whodunnit” will provide a series of puzzles to solve in order to find out the guilty party.  A new launch trailer has been released and can be seen below…

Murder by Numbers takes players to 1996 and the vibrant city of Los Angeles where TV detective Honor Mizrahi and her TV show are pulling in sky-high ratings. However, when her manager suddenly fires her and is found murdered all suspicions fall on her. With all fingers of suspicion pointing to Honor being the prime-suspect, players will need to investigate and prove her innocence.

Players will take control of Honor and her emoji-robot genius SCOUT and interrogate a cast of quirky characters, solve pixel puzzles and gather clues from various locations such as TV studios, glitzy award shows and drag clubs in order to discover the real killer and clear her name.  All this sleuthing is set to a soundtrack composed by Masakazu Sugimori (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick).

Murder by Numbers is available now on the Nintendo eShop and Steam for £11.99.  To celebrate the release, the game currently has a 10% discount for its launch week.
