Everything you need to know from the PlayStation 5 reveal

June 11, 2020 by EJ Moreno

In what Sony is calling “the future of gaming,” the Playstation 5 is off to a killer start with one epic reveal party. The “Future Of Gaming” Showcase was backed by trailers for some iconic games and updated information on what you are getting with the upcoming video game system.

The actual Playstation 5 made its debut at the end of the reveal show, with a sleek new all-white look as pictured above. The white and black body will match its Dualsense controller. A disc-less version of the PlayStation 5 console was also revealed, called the PS5 Digital Edition.

One of the most significant pieces of news to come out of the reveal show is the first look at Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which will be a follow-up to Sony’s hit 2018 game. The web-slinger is not the only returning Playstation character, as the long-time staples Ratchet and Clank will return in a new title called Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.

Also, Sony announced a new spin-off from the LittleBigPlanet series called Sack Boy: A Big Adventure, and the third entry in the long-running Hitman series.
