Roland Emmerich’s Moonfall adds Patrick Wilson and Charlie Plummer

June 15, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Director Roland Emmerich continues to assemble the cast for his next disaster epic, with THR reporting that Patrick Wilson (Aquaman) and Charlie Plummer (All the Money in the World) have signed on to the sci-fi film Moonfall.

The duo join the previously announced Josh Gad (Frozen II) and Halle Berry (All the Money in the World) in the movie, which will follow a ragtag team trying to prevent disaster when the moon is knocked from its orbit and sent on a collision course with Earth.

According to the trade, Wilson is portraying a disgraced astronaut whose last mission ended in disaster, with Plummer as his teenage son.
