Warner Bros. and The CW looking to resume production on The Flash, Superman & Lois and Riverdale in late August

July 28, 2020 by Gary Collinson

With the world slowly emerging from lockdown, Deadline is reporting that Warner Bros. TV and The CW are looking to resume production on their Vancouver, British Columbia-based shows at the end of August.

According to the site, talent from The Flash, Superman & Lois and Riverdale have been contacted to let them know their services will be required in late August, with planned start dates for the shows between August 20th and August 27th. Cast and crew will need to arrive in B.C. two weeks prior to shooting for a period of self-isolation as part of the province’s quarantine measures.

Along with those three shows, WBTV also plans to complete filming on the final episodes of Supernatural in August, with cast members already making their way to Vancouver for the quarantine period and filming expected to take place early-to-mid month.

As yet, there’s no word on the plans for Supergirl, Batwoman and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, all of which also shoot in Vancouver, but are being held for midseason. The CW also has Black Lightning and Stargirl still in limbo, with both of those shows based in Atlanta.
