The Sims 4 gets a Star Wars expansion, new trailers for Star Wars: Squadrons and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga released

Gamescom got underway yesterday, with the first day offering up trailers for two upcoming Star Wars video games, as well as the news that The Sims 4 is set to journey to the galaxy far, far away with a new game pack.

Announced by Lucasfilm, Maxis, and EA, The Sims 4 is set to receive a new pack entitled Star Wars: Journey to Batuu, which will allow players to send their Sim to the Black Spire Outpost, as seen at Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park lands. Check out the trailer for the game pack here…

Journey to Batuu isn’t all that Star Wars gamers have to look forward of course, as EA is set to unleash the space combat title Star Wars: Squadrons, while Traveller’s Tales and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are also giving a LEGO makeover to all nine Episodes of the main feature film series with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Here’s new trailers for both…

Star Wars: Journey to Batuu comes to The Sims 4 on September 8th, with Star Wars: Squadrons releasing on October 2nd and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga following in the Spring of 2021.
