Emma Stone has signed on to appear in Love May Fail, TriStar Pictures’ upcoming adaptation of the book by Matthew Quick, author of Silver Linings Playbook.
Love May Fail follows “a woman who is coming off a demoralizing ending to her marriage to a cheating husband returns to her hometown determined to clear the name of her favorite English teacher, whose career was ended forcibly after a classroom scandal.”
As yet, there’s no word on a director for Love May Fail, but the project will reunite Stone with Matt Tolmach, producer of Superbad, Zombieland and the two Amazing Spider-Man movies.
