Arcane Glamour update arrives for Blightbound

November 26, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Ronimo Games and Devolver Digital have announced the arrival of the Arcane Glamour update for their dark multiplayer dungeon crawler Blightbound.  This latest update is the largest to arrive on the game to date and features a wealth of additions and improvements that players can delve into straight away.  Watch the new trailer below to see more of the game’s latest update.

This latest update for Blightbound features an overhaul of the menus with the most noticeable change being the addition of a hero select screen which makes it so much more straightforward when selecting heroes.  There has also been changes to the initial tutorial flow and the removal of the Blight and Notoriety systems, allowing more focus on the core systems.

A new area is waiting to be explored by adventurers in the Underhold.  Explore the cavernous Underhold Depths and take on the challenge of the terrifying new boss, Haäken the jailed.  As well as a challenging new area there’s also two new enemies to encounter, the Elusive Wretch and the Sinful Totemist.  On the subject of enemies, the elite enemies Timataan, The fast wolf, Cultist M’Aarten, Broderick and Night Crawler can now be encountered during play.

With new enemies comes new heroes and the update introduces new playable hero Roland of Stendhall.  This hero is a complete exhibitionist on the battlefield with a lock-down and long distance kill to prevent the Blight from making contact with his person.

There are 14 new items now in the game, each with their own recipes.  These items are Shining Pendant, Hollow Ring, Trick Bomb, Grimoire of the Blight, Alchemist Material, Detection Rod, Underhold Shackles, Honor’s Demand, Duron’s Gift, Cleansing Touch, Maiden’s Crown, M’waans Moon, M’waans Half-moon and the Carved Skull.

There’s lots more to this update, to read the full patch notes click here.

The Arcane Glamour update is available now in Blightbound.
