Marvel’s Jeph Loeb on the Iron Fist series, and whether we might see Ms. Marvel in live-action

November 26, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Last week, Marvel chief creative officer Joe Quesada dismissed a rumour that Iron Fist could be pulled from their Netflix slate, and now Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb has followed suit in an interview with CBR.

“There was a lot of speculation about what was going on with Iron Fist, because [fans] hadn’t heard anything about it, but there’s never been any change at all,” states Loeb. “We knew exactly what we were doing at Marvel and at Netflix. Let’s get Jessica Jones out there, everybody knows that Luke Cage is up and going. What I can say right now is, we’re very excited about Iron Fist, and the short answer is, yes there’ll be news.”

Meanwhile, Loeb was also asked by E! Online about seeing Kamala Khan – a.k.a. the current Ms. Marvel – making her live-action debut in the MCU, offering up a rather non-committal response:

“Look, that’s a character that has tremendous popularity and when that happens you know that I’m always looking around to see what we can do. We love the character, and one never knows.”
