Wonder Woman 1984 to receive UK PVOD release on January 13th

December 19, 2020 by Gary Collinson

While fans in the United States will be able to enjoy Wonder Woman 1984 from the comfort of their own home when it opens Stateside on Christmas Day with a simultaneous theatrical and HBO Max premiere, the film’s UK release has been limited to cinemas which means you’ll need to brave a trip to the multiplex – assuming you can find one open, of course – if you want to catch Diana’s latest adventure.

Well, that won’t be the case for long, as Warner Bros. has now announced that the Gal Gadot-headlined DC sequel will receive a UK Premium Video on Demand release on January 13th. The film will continue to be available in cinemas where open, whilst also being available to watch at home for a 48-hour rental from participating digital retailers. As yet, there’s no word on pricing, but we have reached out to WB and will update you once we have the info.
