Velociraptor horror Claw releasing in the UK this month

September 1, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Altitude has announced that director Gerald Rascionato’s (Open Water 3: Cage Dive) creature horror Claw is set to release on digital platforms in the UK this month following its premiere at FrightFest’s Virtual Festival.

The film follows two best friends, Kyle (Richard Rennie) and Julia (Chynna Walker), as they find themselves stranded in a ghost town and hunted by a prehistoric predator brought to life by a disgraced scientist; watch the trailer here…

After blowing a tire in the middle of the desert while on their way to Los Angeles for a standup comedy night, best friends Kyle and Julia are forced to spend the night in a remote ghost town. They reluctantly settle in for the evening inside a dingy caravan provided by the ghost town’s strange caretaker Ray, while not so far away in the nearby mountains, trouble brews. A velociraptor, brought to life by a disgraced scientist, escapes its enclosure and makes its way towards the ghost town, hungry and aggravated. With the prehistoric predator now stalking them throughout the sprawling property and no outside help to speak of, Kyle and Julia must work together with Ray in order to survive. And if they do, they better hope the scientist didn’t make any others.

Claw premieres at FrightFest’s Virtual Festival on September 4th and releases on digital platforms on September 13th.
