HBO Max’s Legendary offers up first look at its second season

April 16, 2021 by EJ Moreno

Reality competition shows don’t get any fiercer than Legendary. The first season of the HBO Max Original Series dazzled fans with its impressive dips, flips, and stunts. Now, season two promises to be even more over-the-top, shaping up to be quite the carry.

Legendary offers a look at the ballroom scene, a sub-culture in the queer community where houses come together to face off for the chance to win $100,000. Season two features ten new houses, all battling it out to see who will be superior house and inch closer to the “legendary” status we all want to achieve.

Ballroom legend Leiomy Maldonado is set to return as a judge. She’ll be joined alongside fashion stylist Law Roach, actress Jameela Jamil, and WAP rapper Megan Thee Stallion as returning judges. Dashaun Wesley will serve as the ballroom MC once again.

Joining the regular judges is a gaggle of guest judges that will likely delight fans. Tiffany Haddish, Taraji P. Henson, Amiyah Scott, Nicco Annan, Normani, Adam Lambert, and Demi Lovato join the judges as they score the houses.

Season 2 of Legendary will premiere on Thursday, May 6th.
