Teen Titans’ founding member Raven is currently available as one of Chapter 2 Season 6’s Battle Pass warriors but from Friday 14th May she won’t be the only member of DC’s heroic teens in the game. From Friday, players will be able to get Beast Boy skin from the Fortnite Item Shop along with his Couch Titan Back Bling and BB’s Bonk Bat Pickaxe.
Those who purchase the Beast Boy skin will be able to transform into his Gorilla Form using the Go Ape Emote and go into combat in two outfits, his Teen Titans bodysuit and a more casual jeans and hoodie look. Players will also be able to get home runs with every whack of Beast Boy’s pickaxe which takes the shape of BB’s Bonk Bat in its green and purple colour scheme. Finally, there’s Beast Boy’s back bling which is just a brilliantly thought out pizza box (with oozing pizza) strapped to an XBox controller.
Also announced is the Teen Titans Cup, which will give players the chance to get their hands on this outfit before it hits the shop. On 12th May players can compete in this Duos tournament with a chance to win both the Beast Boy Outfit and Couch Titan Back Bling. However, to take part in this, players must be at account level 30 or above and have Two-Factor Authentication enabled on their Epic account.
Players will be able to take part in up to 10 matches in their region’s three-hour time window (for details look in the Compete tab in-game) and all those who participate will earn the new Beast Boy & Raven Spray. Those who score at least eight points will earn the new BBRae Loading Screen. Full rules for the tournament can be found here.
