NIS America announces new RPG MONARK coming to PC, Playstation and Switch in 2022

June 10, 2021 by Andrew Newton

NIS America has announced a brand-new RPG, MONARK, coming to Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, PS5 and PC in early 2022.  This upcoming title sees players set out to free an academy from a mysterious and deadly mist.  Check out the new announcement trailer below…

In MONARK a madness-inducing Mist has engulfed the Shin Mikado Academy and everything has gone completely chaotic.  Taking the role of a student at the academy, players will need to save their friends and everyone inside by entering a daemon-filled dimension known as the Otherworld.  Within this realm, players will need to learn to harness their Authority of Vanity and conjure Fiends to fight the 7 Pactmasters.  It will be essential to develop the Ego to break the pacts set by the Pactmasters if the corrupting mist is to be removed.

MONARK features:

  • Jump between the Otherworld and the Mist to unravel the mysteries surrounding the academy.
  • Explore a surreal, dark neo-fantasy style world.
  • Strengthen the magic power of the Ego and customise the appearance and abilities of the Fiends. Unlock different Fiends to lead into battle.
  • Use the freeform tactical system to position Fiends before unleashing hell on the enemy.

MONARK will release on Playstation consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC in early 2022.
