Kathleen Kennedy says Lucasfilm will “certainly move forward” with Indiana Jones 5

December 12, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Over the past couple of months there’s been a lot of talk from both Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford about a fifth Indiana Jones movie, and now Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that “we’ll certainly move forward” with another outing for the globe-trotting archaeologist and adventurer.

“We’re all trying to figure out when the right time is to step back in,” Kennedy tells The Hollywood Reporter. “Harrison really wants to do it; Steven really wants to do it. We’ve kicked around a couple of story ideas, but beyond that, I don’t know yet. I think there will be one, we’ll certainly move forward with Indy. But right now, everybody’s just focused on Star Wars.”

Considering how much we’ve been hearing about Indiana Jones 5, don’t be surprised if it’s a done deal already and we get an official announcement after Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
