Succession leads the pack for the TV nominees at the 27th annual Critics Choice Awards

If you’re on Twitter during Sunday nights, you’ve undoubtedly seen the Succession chatter. One of the most buzzed-about HBO shows is a fan-favorite, but it seems like a critical darling as well since it scored eight nominations at the 27th Annual Critics Choice Awards.

On Monday, the Critics Choice Association announced its nominations for the television categories for its upcoming Critics Choice Awards in January. Fear not cinema fans, as the film category nominations will be announced on December 13.

Leading this year’s TV nominees is Succession, but Mare of Easttown and Evil impressed with five nominations each. Coming in with four nominees are fan-favorite series like Only Murders in the Building, Ted Lasso, The Good Fight, This Is Us, and WandaVision.
