Sharon Stone joins Kaley Cuoco in The Flight Attendant season 2

January 16, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

HBO Max has announced that Sharon Stone has signed on to appear as a recurring guest star in the second season of the Kaley Cuoco-led comedy-drama series The Flight Attendant.

Stone, whose recent TV credits include HBO’s Mosaic and The New Pope and Netflix’s Ratched, joins the Emmy-nominated show in the role of Cassie’s (Cuoco) estranged mother Lisa Bowden, who after a lifetime of dealing with Cassie’s alcoholism, no longer has any patience or good will for her daughter and would prefer to stay estranged.

Following the announcement, Cuoco took to Instagram to share an image of herself and Stone, along with the caption “hi mom”.

Season two of THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT finds Cassie Bowden (Cuoco) living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.

The Flight Attendant season 2 sees the return of Kaley Cuoco, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, Rosie Perez, T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall alongside series newcomers Sharon Stone, Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez, JJ Soria, Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera and Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Season two of The Flight Attendant is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max later this year.
