Free-to-play Battle Royale game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt arriving this April

April 1, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Sharkmob has announced they will be releasing their free-to-play Battle Royale game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt on Playstation 5 and PC on 27th April.  Set in the dark world of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will pit players against each other on the dark streets of Prague in epic battles where they will be equipped with a variety of weapons and their own sinister supernatural powers.

In Bloodhunt players will take part in the ruthless war between the ancient vampire clans in the city of Prague.  Players will need to gear up with a variety of equipment and use their supernatural powers to hunt and outsmart the enemy vampires and the Inquisition soldiers.  Strike from every vantage point, drain every drop of blood and dominate the night.  Players will be able to customise their vampire using a number of tools and even choose their Clan allegiance which will define their playstyle.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt on the PS5 will make the best use of the console’s technology and will provide a highly detailed rendition of Prague’s Old Town in either Quality Mode (4K 30fps) or Performance Mode (1440p 60fps), as well as this the DualSense wireless controller will allow players to feel every impact of each attack via the adaptive triggers and vibrations.  The controller’s speakers will also help immersion with high fidelity sounds for consumables or when feeding on the lowly mortals.

David Sirland, Producer for Bloodhunt said: “After a successful Early Access period, Sharkmob has been implementing feedback from the game’s community and we can’t wait to show fans how the game has progressed. We’re delighted to be bringing the game to a new audience of PlayStation 5 players and are excited to be launching the full game this April in all its glory.”

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will release on PS5 and PC on 27th April.  A special PlayStation 5 Founder’s Ultimate Edition is available to pre-order and includes more than 100 cosmetic items, including a PS5 exclusive samurai mask and two PS5 exclusive outfits – Headrush and Fast Forward, it also includes 1000 tokens of in-game currency that can be used to purchase more vanity items or the Battle Pass.
