Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman set for The Kill Room

April 3, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Pulp Fiction co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman have signed on for The Kill Room, a dark comedy thriller from director Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving).

As per THR, the film will follow “a hitman, his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman) and a money-laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into an overnight avant-garde sensation, one that forces her to play the art world against the underworld.”

“Getting to make The Kill Room — an already incredible script — with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson is beyond my wildest dreams,” said Paone, is directing from a script by Jonathan Jacobson. “Every moment they’re onscreen, they are both enviable and eye-catching. I am eternally grateful to both of them for saying yes, and I am thrilled to bring this to life alongside Anne Clements and Yale Productions.”

“The combination of Uma and Sam for this project is a dream come true,” added producers Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman of Yale Productions. “We are certain that Nicol is going to deliver a special film, and one that strikes the perfect balance between dark humor and edge-of-your-seat thrills.”

Jackson and Thurman reunited at the Academy Awards last weekend to mark the 28th anniversary of Pulp Fiction. Both stars can also currently be seen on the small screen, with Jackson starring in Apple TV+’s The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey and Thurman appearing in Showtime’s Super Pumped.
