Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn video looks at the game’s rich world

May 12, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Kepler Interactive and A44 Games have released a new behind the scenes video for their upcoming RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.  In this latest developer video Robert Bruce, A44 Games’ Art Director and Principal Environment Artist Steven Chen talk about creating the rich and vibrant world that players will journey around.  Watch this new developer video below…

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an open world, action RPG that follows Nor Vanek, a member of the coalition army, and her strange, magical companion Enki as they travel through a rich and vibrant world.  After the Door to the Afterlife is opened and the army of undead surge across the world, Nor Vanek and Enki have a personal vendetta against the gods and will cut a swathe through the undead creatures as they travel cavernous ruins, deserts and the towering City of Dawn.  As Nor, players will wield a mighty battle axe, a firearm, magic and more and will be able to combine and blend these items to unleash powerful combos.

The game world of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has been inspired by the nature and landscapes of A44’s native New Zealand and as such contains a diverse range of environments to explore.  Players will be able to explore these vast environments and those who go the extra mile on exploration will find it well worth the effort.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will arrive later this year on Xbox and Playstation consoles and PC.
