Evil Dead: The Game launches on Xbox, Playstation and PC

May 14, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have announced the release of their new co-op PvP/PvE game, Evil Dead: The Game, on Xbox and Playstation consoles and PC via the Epic Games Store.  Get ready to live the horror of the iconic films and kick Kandarian Demon ass and put down Deadites for good.  A new launch trailer can be seen below showcasing the spooky game world, the Kandarian Demon and plenty of nods to Evil Dead lore.

Evil Dead: The Game is filled with all the humour, action and horror that fans have come to love from the films.  There’s a wealth of beloved characters from the franchise, including Ash, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur and more, and they’re all ready to perform over-the-top gory action against the forces of darkness. Players will have access to more than 25 hard-hitting weapons with which to kill Deadites, such as the chainsaw and Boomstick, plus various skill trees that will bolster abilities in multiplayer and bonus single-player missions.

Playing as the good guys will have players working in teams of four to locate certain items and seal the breach. However, players won’t always be fighting for the good guys and will be able to take control of the Kandarian Demon itself and hunt Ash and the others using the Deadites and other environmental objects.

Evil Dead: The Game is available now on Xbox and Playstation consoles and PC via the Epic Games Store.  A Deluxe Edition of the game is also available and comes with the Season One Pass featuring the Classics Bundle.
