DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace arrives on PC and consoles

July 17, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Outright Games’ DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is out now on Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC.  Inspired by the upcoming feature film DC League of Super-Pets, which is set for release later this month, DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace puts the fate of Metropolis firmly in the paws of these two dogs.  Watch the game’s launch trailer below….

Lex Luthor is putting his intellect, resources and dastardly scheming into a new plan to capture all the stray animals around Metropolis.  Only two dogs stand in his way, Krypto and Ace, but can they put a stop to Luthor’s scheming before his plans cause major problems for Metropolis?  However, these dogs aren’t any old dog, they belong to Superman and Batman.

Taking the role of the Super-Pets, players will journey across multiple missions set throughout Metropolis and use their super unique abilities to save strays from falling prey to Lex Luthor’s robot army.  Once all the strays have been rescued from the robot army’s clutches then it’s time to help them find their happy ever after homes by taking them to the adoption agency.

DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace features:

  • Battle Lex Luthor and his LexBot army as they spread around the city of Metropolis to catch all the strays.
  • Play as the Super-Pets, Krypto and Ace, and get help along the way from pet pals PB, Merton and Chip.
  • Help PB, Merton and Chip to unlock new upgrades that will help the two heroic dogs on their mission.
  • Rescue the strays from the Lexbots then find them new homes with the citizens of Metropolis through a fun pet adoption minigame.

Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games said: “We’re so excited to be launching DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace today, letting players take flight as some of the most lovable Super Hero pets around. It’s been a delight working again with our partners Warner Bros. on another excellent children’s franchise, and we can’t wait for DC fans of all ages to get their hands on this brand new DC adventure.”

DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is out now on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC. Xbox Series X/S and PS5 upgrades will be available from 30th September for those who own the game on Xbox One and PS4.

In “DC League of Super-Pets,” Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.

DC League of Super-Pets features the voice talents of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves, and Marc Maron.

DC League of Super-Pets is set for release on July 29th 2022.
