Jodie Foster’s latest directorial effort, Money Monster, has just received its first trailer. The brand new footage from the film shows George Clooney (Tomorrowland) portraying a Jim Cramer-esque investment guru/TV personality named Lee Gates who is taken hostage during a live taping of his show by a man with a grudge against him. Money Monster is set for release on May 13th and features a cast that also includes Julia Roberts (Secret in Their Eyes), Jack O’Connell (Unbroken), Dominic West (The Affair), Caitriona Balfe (Outlander) and Giancarlo Esposito (The Jungle Book).
