Ginny & Georgia season 2 premiering January, first-look photos revealed

December 2, 2022 by Ricky Church

Netflix has announced the second season of Ginny & Georgia is set to premiere January 5th, 2023 and released a batch of first-look photos for the upcoming season. Check them out below…

The series stars Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey as Ginny and Georgia, a daughter and mother who move to a small town with Ginny’s younger half-brother Austin, played by Diesel La Torraca. As Ginny makes new friends at her new high school, Georgia ingratiates herself into the town’s municipal government while the family of her deceased husband investigate his mysterious death. As time goes on, Ginny sees her mother’s conman methods and learns of her dark past.

The series also stars Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Chelsea Clark, Katie Douglas and Sabrina Grdevich.

The synopsis for Ginny & Georgia season two reads:

Ginny must figure out how to live with the knowledge that her mother is a murderer. Burdened with the new understanding that Kenny – her step-dad – didn’t die of natural causes, now Ginny must deal with the fact that Georgia not only killed, she killed to protect Ginny. Georgia on the other hand would much prefer that the past be left in the past, after all, she’s got a wedding to plan! But the funny thing about Georgia’s past is that it never stays buried for long.

Ginny & Georgia is created by Sarah Lampert with Debra J. Fisher serving as showrunner and Angela Nissel as writer. All three executive producer the series with Jeff Tahler, Jenny Daly, Holly Hines, Daniel March, Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron and Armand Leo with Elena Blekhter serving as a co-executive producer. James Genn directs and executive produces.

Ginny & Georgia season two will premiere January 5th, 2023.
