LEGO unveils Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 tie-in sets

Following on from the release of the latest trailer for the movie, The LEGO Group has unveiled three new tie-in sets for Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – the Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters (76253), Baby Rocket’s Ship (76254), and The New Guardians’ Ship. The sets go on sale on April 1st, one month ahead of the movie’s May release; check out the promotional images here…

Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters (76253)

 

Put action from Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 into the hands of kids aged 7 and up with LEGO® Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters (76253).

Marvel movie fans will recognize this Super Hero base from Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. Inside are tools, technology and a table around which Groot and Star-Lord minifigures plan their next exciting mission. For added digital fun, kids can download the LEGO Builder app and step into a creative world where they can zoom in and rotate models in 3D, save sets and track their building progress.

This buildable toy recreates the spaceship that Baby Rocket uses to escape from his creators in the movie. The craft features an opening cockpit, adjustable landing gear and 2 stud shooters. As well as the Baby Rocket figure, the set comes with an adult Rocket minifigure to inspire even more Guardians of the Galaxy action. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life-a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will see the return of Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon), Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Sylvester Stallone (Stakar Ogord), Elizabeth Debecki (Ayesha) and Michael Rosenbaum (Martinex), alongside MCU newcomers Will Poulter (Dopesick) as Adam Warlock, Chukwudi Iwuji (Peacemaker) as the High Evolutionary, Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm) as Cosmo the Spacedog, and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) and Nico Santos (Crazy Rich Asians) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set for release on May 5th 2023.
