As Amazon prepares to premiere the second season of The Wheel of Time on Prime Video on September 1st, Dynamite Entertainment has announced its own comic book adaptation of the second novel in Robert Jordan’s beloved fantasy series with The Wheel of Time: The Great Hunt from writer Rik Hoskin and artist Marcio Abreu.
“With a project like this, I always try to be as faithful as I can to the source material,” said Hoskin. “That means familiarizing myself with the world, and trying to get it all into chunks I can refer to quickly — a bit like making revision notes when you’re at school!”
The Wheel of Time: The Great Hunt marks Dynamite’s third Wheel of Time adaptation after the prequel New Spring and first novel The Eye of the World. The new series will launch in November with covers from Mel Rubi and Jordan Gunderson, as well as a photo cover from Amazon’s The Wheel of Time season 2…
