New cinematic trailer for Ontotis reveals its haunting world

September 27, 2023 by Andrew Newton

Xenoplasis Games and IndiePump have released a brand new cinematic trailer for their upcoming horror title Ontotis, set for release for PC on 6th October.  This new trailer provides a glimpse into the terrifying universe created by the game’s solo developer.

Ontotis puts players in the role of Robert, an ordinary man struggling with the loss of his wife. Needing an escape, Robert takes a job as caretaker for abandoned homes in a remote location but when a severe storm comes in he is tasked with securing one more house. During his last tasks on the property some unexplained happenings occur and a mysterious figure is seen that links to the events.

Players will examine numerous objects within the house and solve challenging puzzles to discover clues that lead to finding out more about the house’s previous occupants.  Be prepared for twists and turns as Robert encounters horrors inspired by age-old legends.

Featuring:

  • Solve challenging puzzles to unlock the secrets the old house keeps hidden.
  • Find items, discover clues and piece together the mysteries the property holds.
  • Different endings to discover based on items used and the mysteries solved.

Ontotis releases for PC via Steam on 6th October.
